- when someone treats you like a kid just because you look younger than your age suggests
- when some two-face, no good, colleague steals an opportunity from you
- when you see people finding their calling at job or in life, while you don't know what the hell you were doing till date
- when you have to reluctantly gulp the crap they serve in the company cafeteria
- when people in other companies or departments can find better jobs (mo' money, honey) while you have to worry about a stupid bond that you signed with your firm
- when someone takes you for granted
- when no one other than you listens to rock in the entire company
- when some stupid colleague comes up to you and raves about the latest remix in which a model is bursting out of her clothes
- when everyone around you seems to be busy while you sit at you computer typing nonsensical words
i totally agree with the first point. i hate it when people just assume i'm like, 15 or something. once, i was almost denied entry into a club because the guy would not believe that i was 19. he said that my id was fake and i was really 14 or 15! luckily the manager intervened =].

Tell me about it! Though I've learnt to make use of that: eg. I travelled using a half ticket till 10th std. untill the conductor figured I couldn't be 11 for 3 years ;-). Not to mention the umpteen times I've not been granted access to adult movies in theatres (of course, this never happened after I was 18!).

well even i find it irritating when most of them take ppl for granted ... and also when other people seem busy. Most of the time I end up thinking I have nothing worthwhile to do on this earth. Thats frustrating!

Hi - Reached here via Ramanand's blog
* - when no one other than you listens to rock in the entire company
loved that one..hehe. I thought that coming to the US might solve that problem, but I've found even lesser desi people here listening to rock music than in India. (personal experience of course, maybe I'm just unlucky). When you say I'm "Comfortably Numb", and no one around gets it, you know that's so, so wrong.

I know the feeling when you say "no one else listens to rock in the entire company". Its so so disappointing. It gets worse when they come and tell you about latest songs from Britney, Blue, or Beyonce.
